Langar guidelines

  • Langar items must not contain egg or meat.
  • Please avoid nuts in Langar items. This Gurudwara Sahib is a Nut-Free zone.
  • Degh is prepared at Gurdwara Sahib. Outside degh is not allowed.
  • Snacks and groceries are the Sevak Parivar's responsibility.
  • The Sevak Parivar is asked to be present and be involved during Langar preparation.

To confirm — the Seva amounts, the terms a family agrees to, how much notice the kitchen needs, and how far ahead bookings should open. The amounts come from the current site; the notice period and window are defaults nobody has confirmed (register A4). Every one of them is editable without a deployment.

To confirm — whether a confirmation email should be sent. Bookings confirm on screen with a reference, and nothing is emailed yet — the sending identity is agreed (Sevadaars@sikhsabhanj.org, via Microsoft 365) but not built (register A5).
